Lisa Gardner is a Canadian Artist currently living on Bowen Island near Vancouver, BC. lisagardner.ca
Lisa is a versatile artist, mainly working in oil, but also works with watercolour, pen and ink.
Her subject matter is usually landscape although has been exploring abstract expressionism but still maintains a link to the natural world.
Lisa has a BA Honours degree in Studio art from the University of Guelph. Also a B.Ed. from UBC, and has taught Fine Art and Photography in secondary schools and from time to time instructs private art lessons.
Lisa has explored Chinese brush in private lessons with Yukman Lai and a type of abstract-expressionistic Oriental brush painting with Ari Tomita. She continues to explore new ways to combine elements of western and Asian art.
Lisa has exhibited in Vancouver and has participated in community arts events and currently is a member of the Arts Pacific Gallery on Bowen Island, BC.
